Do You Remember When.........
I remember when a chocolate bar cost under a dollar. Nowadays if you see it on special for $3 you are doing well.
What about petrol. You can’t even rely on the price from one day to the next. One day it is $1.39 per litre, the next it is $1.54 per litre.
Perth’s (Western Australia) stupid so called price cycle is ridiculous.
I believe it is the only state capital in Australia that has this. For one day in the week it drops by up to 20 cents then it is back up again for the rest of the week.
Country towns and smaller cities in WA do not have this, so if they can control their pricing, when it is more difficult to get supplies, why on Earth can’t the petrol stations in Perth not do the same?
Don't Forget The Tim Tams
Tim Tams are know in the UK as Penguins. Well, they are pretty much exactly the same from memory.
Anyway, have you noticed that the physical pack size has remained the same over the years but there are less biscuits in there than there used to be?
I am sure they are getting lighter too. It’s the sneaky way the companies try to fool us and make their shareholders profits go up that is so annoying.
Packs of chips (crisps) are the same. The bag size stays stable, but the weight of the chips inside goes down while the price either stays stable or goes up!
This list could probably be the proverbial mile long. But am I right, or am I wrong?
