I decided to have a go at paint pouring. You should try it too. It is really quite different form any another method of creating an artwork.
There is a lot crammed into a small space. But hey! we need to manage with what we have. Plus space for the dog!
You could us a simple work area as I have here. It is simply a large piece of card with the corners folded in to themselves and secured with a stapler.
Then a few off-cuts of dowel were placed as a support to prevent the work from sticking to the card.
I started with a piece of pine board.

The paint pouring
After a quick coat of Gesso, I ran some ultramarine along the bottom, topped that with some sand colour, then a green, then white and finished off with a light blue and a bit more ultramarine.
I then placed the cling wrap reasonably flatly over the whole lot. Then taking hold of each bottom corner, I lifted the cling wrap upwards and inwards at the same time which produced the effect of waves and pine trees. Then a quick dab with a rolled tissue with some extra white for some clouds.
